The Bletchley leisure centre swimming pool pyramid. Architects: FaulknerBrowns, completed 1973. This award-winning GRP and steel structure failed to be listed. It will soon (2010) be demolished when the new facilities open. English Heritage said: “this remains a relatively commonplace type of public building”. Er... really?
