UEL, student flats

[from the archives of 2010]
The University of East London's docklands campus faces the old Royal Albert Dock, once the longest dock in the world. These student flats remind me of Greek windmills for some reason, but I suppose they are intended to be nautical in character — they certainly look good facing the dock. The cylindrical buildings accommodate 384 students; there are five pairs of buildings of this style. Additional student accommodation is on-campus.
