Brighton Dome / SE
View from the southeast of Brighton's Dome, originally designed by William Porden, 1808, for the Prince of Wales (later George IV). Converted to a concert hall by the Borough Surveyor, Philip Lockwood, 1867. The interior was redesigned in the Art Deco style by Robert Atkinson in 1935. The concert hall was last renovated between 1999-2002. Grade 1 listed. City of Brighton & Hove, UK.

South (Indian) Gate viewed from the northwest in Pavilion Gardens. Designed by Thomas Tyrwhitt, 1921, in Gujerati style using Bath stone. Inscribed: "This Gateway is the Gift of India in Commemoration of Her Sons Who Stricken in the Great War Were tended in the Pavilion in 1914 and 1915". Grade 2 listed. City of Brighton & Hove, UK.
