South (Indian) Gate viewed from the northwest in Pavilion Gardens. Designed by Thomas Tyrwhitt, 1921, in Gujerati style using Bath stone. Inscribed:
"This Gateway is the Gift of India in Commemoration of Her Sons Who Stricken in the Great War Were tended in the Pavilion in 1914 and 1915". Grade 2 listed. City of Brighton & Hove, UK.
