1960s multi-storey car park now closed due to safety concerns about the high-alumina cement beams supporting the floors. Dome Cinema / SE

120 Fleet Street / 2026

Redevelopment of the former Daily Express Building, built 1932 and the first curtain wall building in UK. Original Art Deco design by Sir Owen Williams (with Ellis, Clark et al), Grade 2* listed. The current project designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), completion estimated 2028. City of London.

London Belle / Richard III

London Belle at the front was built by Rowhedge Iron Works in 1948 as an excursion boat, although retired by London Party Boats last year I believe. Richard III behind is a waste pump-out barge. Dome of Wren's St Paul's Cathedral in background. Seen from the London Borough of Southwark.
