Architect: C. Harold Norton, opened 1905 and funded by Andrew Carnegie. Classical style facade of Bath stone, slate roof and copper covered cupola. Rare survivor of heavy bombing in this area during the Blitz. Grade II listed. On Strattondale Street E14, London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
