New lift tower, part of the first phase of the Madeira Terrace restoration project led by Purcell architects for Brighton & Hove City Council. The tower has been clad with more than 20,000 bricks laid with lime mortar. The modern style using traditional materials is intended to complement the Victorian terrace. City of Brighton & Hove, UK.
