The Angel / Highgate
Site of a brewery by the end of C15 and a public house here in 1610. The present building is a 1930 reconstruction in an interwar neo-Georgian style. The wall plaque commemorates Graham Chapman — of Monty Python's Flying Circus — "Drank here often and copiously". Highgate High Street, London Borough of Camden.
