The Flask / Highgate
Public house, possibly early C18, partially rebuilt c.1767 by William Carpenter. The oval date-stone inscribed 1663 presumably refers to a stable block which has that claim. Grade II listed. Highgate West Hill, London Borough of Camden.

The name probably arose from when gallon flasks of local spring water were sold at 3d each in the C18. Highgate West Hill, London Borough of Camden.
