Architect: George Pearce at the Ministry of Works, 1959. Part of the post-war Crawley New Town development, providing (at that time) the town's primary Post Office and sorting hub. Modernist style influenced by the Festival of Britain using red-brick with an open-work brick honeycomb section, glazing panels, and what looks like a copper clad roof. Locally listed as an authentic example of a significant phase of the New Town development. Crawley, West Sussex, UK.
