St Nicolas / BN43

Grade 1 listed Anglican church in Old Shoreham, close to the river Adur. A site of Saxon origins although significantly rebuilt after the Norman conquest. Of cruciform plan around a central Norman tower. Flint with stone dressings including C12 carvings. Later restoration by the Victorians including the stained glass windows. St Nicolas Lane, Shoreham by Sea, West Sussex, UK.
