St Margaret Ditchling / SE

Parish church probably on the site of an earlier Saxon church, with some tentative claims that fragments of the nave are pre-Conquest. Cruciform plan with a central flint tower and shingled spire. Much of the structure dates from C12 to C14, although major restorations in the Victorian era. Grade 1 listed. Viewed here from the southeast. Church Lane, Ditchling, Sussex, UK.
