Ionic portico, refurbished remains of the 'Royal German Spa' established 1825 by Dr Friedrich Struve of Dresden. 'Taking the waters' lost popularity by 1850 but business continued producing bottled water and soft drinks. Hooper Struve eventually relocated in 1963 and closed in 2022. Grade 2 listed.
