Architect: Alexander Binnie for LCC, 1902. Circular red-brick building with glazed dome, at Island Gardens. Inside there are spiral stairs and a lift shaft descending to the foot-tunnel under the Thames. Grade II listed and exterior now beautifully planted. London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
