Art gallery in the Brutalist style at the Southbank Centre. Designed by the GLC Department of Architecture, the Hayward Gallery opened in 1968. The principal summer exhibition, coinciding with the Southbank Festival of Britain's 60th anniversary, is a major survey of the work of British artist Tracey Emin (b.1963).
