Modernist bungalows for the elderly, designed by the LCC Architects Dept., completed 1958, listed Grade II in 1998. Brick and concrete cross-wall construction, flat roofs with tall concrete chimney stacks. Part of the Alton Conservation Area.
Behind is the Grade I listed Mount Clare designed by Sir Robert Taylor, 1772 and Placido Columbani, 1780, now used as a student hall of residence. London Borough of Wandsworth.
