Water Gate / Hamarikyu Gardens

Lock gates used to regulate a tidal pond in Hamarikyu Gardens. The gardens date back to the C17 and have been a public park since 1946. The 47-storey residential towers behind are known as the Tokyo Twin Parks, completed in 2002. Chūō, Tokyo.
