Summerhouse / Myatt's Fields Park

Victorian park pavilion, known as the Summerhouse or Roundhouse, included on the local heritage list. The Grade II listed park's original landscape architect was Fanny Wilkinson (1855-1951). Myatt's Fields Park, London Borough of Lambeth.

St James / (Former)

Architect: George Low for J L Minet, 1870, Grade II listed. In Neo-Gothic style using Kentish ragstone and Bath stone dressings. Deconsecrated 1981 and converted into 18 apartments in 1984-85, now known as Black Roof House. Within the Minet Conservation Area, Knatchbull Road, London Borough of Lambeth.

Lodge / Kennington Park

A.k.a. Prince Consort Lodge and Prince Albert's Model Cottage. Architect: Henry Roberts for Prince Albert, originally as "model working-class housing" shown at the Great Exhibition of 1851 in Hyde Park. Re-erected in Kennington Park in 1852. Grade II* listed. LCC Tower / Nov '21

Architects: London County Council, 1964; exterior refurbishment: BPA Architecture, 2021. This fine modernist tower block gets an extended life, although the coloured spandrel panels are a questionable addition. London College of Communication, Elephant & Castle, London Borough of Southwark.

St Agnes / Kennington Park

Architect: Ralph Covell, 1956, replacing an earlier Neo-Gothic church, by George Gilbert Scott Jr., that was damaged in WW2. Brick built by Halliday and Greenwood, with pointed windows and copper fleche. London Borough of Southwark.

Canons House 2021 / III

Built by John Odway c.1680 for the Cranmer family. Sold to the local council in 1939. The name originates from an Augustinian priory that was given this site C12. A pond and dovecote nearby predate the house. A cedar of Lebanon tree is to left. Grade II* listed, recently renovated. Mitcham, London Borough of Merton.
