Watchtower / Valletta

One of many built into the bastions of the fortified City of Valletta, originally constructed by the Order of St John (Knights Hospitaller) when they received ownership of Malta. Valletta's fortification commenced in 1566 and the city is a prime example of Baroque architecture. This at St Barbara Bastion, Valletta, Malta.
