Draper House / Strata

Left, Draper House designed by the LCC Architect's Department under Hubert Bennett, 1965. This 25-storey tower was part of a residential estate that also included four 5-storey blocks. The tower recently endured a difficult, expensive and prolonged refurbishment.

Right, Strata by BFLS Architects, 2010. This 43-storey residential tower was recipient of the 2010 Carbuncle Cup. With 3 wind-turbines at the top which I have never seen turning.
