The Palmeira / BN3

Architect thought to be Thomas Simpson, c.1880, built as a hotel intended for passengers using the then Hove railway station which was close-by. Eastbourne Pier / 20250806

Originally designed and engineered by Eugenius Birch, 1870, supported on cast iron screwpiles. Superstructure buildings are constructed of wood with some cast iron and zinc roofs. The Grade 2* listing mentions that with the loss of Brighton's West Pier, Eastbourne's is now the finest of Birch's surviving seaside piers. East Sussex, UK.

The Clock Tower / Brighton

The Quadrant / BN1

45 & 46 Church St / BN1

A pair of cottages located just north of St Nicholas Church, unlisted but referenced in the West Hill Conservation Area. While the conservation area indicates a mid-19th century origin, a plaque on number 45 states "Black Lion House, 1806". However I can't see any building here on an 1809 map.
