'Goavve' / Máret Ánne Sara
Artist: Máret Ánne Sara, b.1983, Norway. 90ft column of reindeer hides, stretched on electrical power cables, as a memorial to reindeer lives lost to climate change. Goavve is a Sámi word for a layer of ice on the ground that prevents reindeer from accessing food, leading to starvation. Tate Modern turbine hall, Bankside, London Borough of Southwark.
