Soane Mausoleum / NW1

Architect: Sir John Soane, 1816, originally for his wife Eliza, now the tomb of John Soane himself, his wife and son John. Here viewed from the east. Portland stone, including a central dome said to have later influenced the design of the K2 telephone box. One of only two Grade I listed monuments in London. Old Church Gardens, St. Pancras, London Borough of Camden.
