Known as Dog Gate, arched entrance to Bourne Hall gardens built early C19 (possibly late C18) of stucco-rendered masonry. Sponsored by Thomas Hercey Barritt, owner of a Jamaican sugar plantation and the Ewell mansion then known as Garbrand Hall. The talbot dog is from the family coat-of-arms. Grade II listed.
