Built as artisans' housing in the 1820s, street named after the developer John Palmer Roupell, a metal dealer. Now in a conservation area with most buildings Grade II listed. Roofs run transverse to the street allowing a repetitive gable-shaped parapet line. London Borough of Lambeth.
