The Doric portico was originally the entrance to a Unitarian Chapel built in 1821. The main body of the disused chapel was demolished in 1964 — the portico retained and Grade II listed. A 7-storey residential development, in modern style, was added c.2014. It provides 59 flats for short-term rental. London Borough of Lambeth.

Built as artisans' housing in the 1820s, street named after the developer John Palmer Roupell, a metal dealer. Now in a conservation area with most buildings Grade II listed. Roofs run transverse to the street allowing a repetitive gable-shaped parapet line. London Borough of Lambeth.

Street in the historic warehouse district next to Tower Bridge, its name possibly a contraction of 'St John at Thames'. The elevated catwalks were originally for goods transfer between warehouses. London Borough of Southwark.
