York Way Bridge No 36 was first built in 1819 and its most recent rebuild was in 1999 by Roughton Group Ltd & Camden Environment Dept. The bridge was originally known as Maiden Lane Bridge, the word 'maiden' thought to be a corruption of 'midden'. London Borough of Camden.
