6 Whidborne Street / WC1H

Detached, single bay, three-storey Victorian building made of stock brick with a flat roof. Once a butcher's shop belonging to a Mr William Johnson,  it also has served as accommodation for the headmistress of nearby Argyle Primary School. In the 1990s it was divided into 2 flats but has now reverted to a single dwelling. Plans for a mansard roof extension, including 2-storey extension at rear, have recently been approved.
