Rådhuset / Interior and exterior

Architect: Martin Nyrop, 1905, in the National Romantic style. The 107m tower is complete with carillon which plays a jaunty tune after the hour.  City Hall Square, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Three samples of the richly decorated interior of Copenhagen City Hall. The wood carving of a powered windlass in on a panel of a stair-rail. The carving of the architect is on an impost stone. A beetle with two doves is carved on a stone capital. Copenhagen, Denmark.
