Warner House was originally built in 1937-8 to a design by Waite & Waite to be occupied by printers, a lens manufacturer and stores for the Post Office. In 1993-6 the building was converted to apartments by Eastglen Property Services Ltd, in conjunction with GJP Practice and Vincent Grant Partnership [info source: British History Online].
