Restaurant with residential accommodation above, built 1934 to the design of restaurateur Alfonso Forte (1880-1958). Operated by the Forte family until 1969 when it was bought by the Marroccos. The 'winter garden' glazing was absent from the original build, which better suited the modernist style. The property is included in the Cliftonville Conservation Area. 8 King's Esplanade, City of Brighton & Hove.
