Built c.1880 incorporating two tunnels that were once used for a sewage and land drain system. The Grade 2 listing says that for a time it served as a coal delivery pier. Repairs c.2020 by Thorne Civil Engineers and the Flint Wall company. City of Brighton & Hove, UK.
