3 / King's Gardens
Builder J.T.Chapell, c.1890, render over brick with terracotta dressings. Looks a bit "Belle Époque" influenced to me. Tall chimney stacks to sides of roof with one of its dormers surrounded by a decorative gable. Stylish wrought-iron balustrade to first floor. Grade 2 listed with the group of houses surrounding. 3 King's Gardens, Hove, City of Brighton & Hove.

King Alfred / Dinosaur
Swimming pools designed by Tom Humble, Borough Surveyor of Hove, c.1938, in a brick modern style typical of lidos of that era. Unlisted, it now has an unbefitting extension to the south. Currently slated for redevelopment by 2028. In foreground, the 'Jurassic Beach' mini golf. Hove, City of Brighton & Hove, UK.
