The White House / Mitcham
The wall plaque says: "This 18th Century house was renovated in the Regency style in 1826 by Dr.A.C.Bartley, a village doctor, whose daughter wrote reminiscences of old Mitcham. The house remained in his family until 1919. Fluted Greek Doric columns support a slightly altered porch with a bowed front". Mitcham, London Borough of Merton.

Birches House / Mitcham
Built c.1900 for Sir Isaac Wilson, who bequeathed the house and land to be eventually incorporated into the NHS in 1948. This Queen Anne Revival house is locally listed and is still used by the health service. Birches Close, Mitcham, London Borough of Merton.

Chart Close / Mitcham
Late-C20 terrace on what used to be a tennis court. Rendered block-work in a pastiche of Victorian styling with sash windows, entrance canopies and quoining. Thalia Theater / Hamburg
Replacing an 1843 theatre, the building of 1912 with neo-classical facade was designed by Werner Lundt and Georg Kallmorgen. During the 1920's the actor Peter Lorre was associated with the theatre.
