Serpentine Summer House 2016 / Yona Friedman
Summer House designed by Yona Friedman (b.1923 Hungary, now French) for the Serpentine Architecture Programme 2016. The design is said to build upon the architect's La Ville Spatiale project begun in the late 1950s and is described as a 'space-chain' structure. Kensington Gardens, City of Westminster, London.

Purbeck Pottery / Poole
Large Dutch gable concealing the slate roof of Purbeck Pottery. Est. 1966, the pottery makes vitrified stoneware using clay from the nearby Purbeck hills. The Quay, Poole, Dorset.

The King's Head / Poole
Mid-C16 origin with the façade rebuilt C18. The original roof structure survives, showing the carpenter's assembly marks on the timbers. Said to have previously been called the Plume of Feathers which can be dated to around 1678, so a very long-lived inn. Grade II listed. Poole, Dorset.
